More than half of the population of our planet is concentrated in Asia; a rich continent with a world of cultural, racial, and religious diversity. Yet, Christianity is only a small minority in most Asian countries, and the task of reaching Asia with the message of the Gospel is far from complete. More effective leaders are needed to mobilize the people of God and reach the lost in this vast continent.

Alumni accelerate the spread of the Gospel by training leaders of leaders in ten Asian nations. Two international teams lead the work of ILI on the continent.

  • The South Asia International Office is based in Hyderabad, India. Under the leadership of Dr. Peter Pereira,
    president of Hope For Today Ministries, national teams of leaders conduct training in India, Bangladesh, and Nepal.

  • The Asia Pacific region has active national teams in Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand. Leaders from China are
    also being trained by the Asia Pacific team.

Conferences in Asia are conducted in several languages, with the ILI curriculum translated in its entirety or in part to Bangla, Chinese, Filipino, Hindi, Tamil, Thai, Telugu, Urdu, and others. ILI and History Makers alumni serve and take the Gospel to various areas of their society.
